Adobe Flash CS5 demo created by me Last week and the client want it by quicktime(.mov) file format to upload it in youtube video. So I downloaded and installed quicktime and tried to export..

The exporting of quicktime from adobe flash cs5 worked worked fine… and the exported video works good.

Problem with quicktime sound export from Flash CS5:

I noticed while playing the video in quicktime player, the sound could not be hear. I thought there might be problem with the export. Then I realized the sound is flash is attached by actionscript at runtime. Then the exported video with quicktime of Flash cs5 demo worked fine with sound.

After some edits in Flash cs5 authoring tool again it didnt export.. I tried for two days.. it just stopped at last frame.

Flash CS5 to Quick time export log File:

I also checked the log file named “QuickTime Export Log.txt” under the below path.

C:\Users\designscripting\AppData\Local\Adobe\Flash CS5\en_US\Configuration\QuickTime Export Log.txt

Note: Please check the path relavent to you system path.

Then I realized there was an empty blank keyframe at end of animation in flash authoring tool. The export worked fine for me again :)

I cleared temp files… and set the priority of the flash process high in task manager.

To Clear Temp files:

  • type “temp” in run promp and delete all
  • type “%temp%” in run promp and delete all

Try exporting again..

If this workaround does not work.. Try this:
In export setting of Quicktime under stop exporting, select after time elaspsed: and give time of the movie. Try export now..
