AS3 Tween Class | Flash transitions Actionscript

Some AS3 Tween class listed here a useful to create animations in Actionscript. Each tween class has its own advantage.  Please go through the respective Class documentation for the list of transitions possible and how to animate Flash display Objects. Before using the as3 tween classes it is important to know some basics of the Flash actionscript 3( as3 )

TweenCube Tween Class:

TweenCube is free and open source Tween library, helpful tools to create animations in ActionScript easily. Includes the following

TweenLite Tween Class:

Tweener (caurina.transitions.Tweener) is a Class used to create tweenings and other transitions via ActionScript code for projects built on the Flash platform.

The Tween class lets you use ActionScript to move, resize, and fade movie clips by specifying a property of the target movie clip to animate over a number of frames or seconds.

MC Tween is a free library of prototypes that can be used on Flash MX and above (with both AS1 and AS2) to create property tweenings dinamically using several different easing equations – in practical words, creating easing animations via simple and small coding.


Twease Tween Class:

Twease is an ActionScript tweening engine and sequencer developed by Andrew Fitzgerald. The core Twease class is less than 200 lines of code and weighs in at a miraculous 2k.

Twease is more efficient and lighter than just about any other major tween class, but still manages to rival the capabilities of engines 10x its size.

KitchenSync Tween Class:

Tweensy Tween Class:

Tweensy is an extremely efficient Actionscript 3 property tweener. Contained within Tweensy is an expansion package called Tweensy FX which allows for motion effects to be applied onto DisplayObjects.
